During this time, Davis was trying to get the Raiders' stadium improved and when that didn't materialize, he decided to move the team to Los Angeles. Off the field, the move was marked by a number of internal quarrels that would brew on and off over the next few years. In 1995, the team was finally shifted back to Oakland.
