New Football Team Kits are a Big Hit at the 2007 Grass Roots Football Show
(PRWEB) September 12, 2007 -- Having recently launched their exciting new Centris range at the second Grass Roots Football Show in June 2007, Maudesport Clubline, a West Midlands based leading UK Football Team Wear and Equipment Wholesaler, found the show to be an excellent platform to debut their new brand new range of football kits, especially as more than 5,000 managers, coaches, officials and players came together at Coventry's Ricoh Arena to attend the two day action packed event.
Clubline's General Sales Manager Nick Palmer said, "There was a great turnout and we had some really positive feedback about our new Centris football kits. Even the former England Coach Graham Taylor was on our stand chatting to us about our Precision Training products."
The first day kicked off early with a private coaching session from Graham Taylor with the BBC Coventry competition winners Leamington Lions. The action continued on with more training sessions in the 600 seat coaching arena, which was reduced to standing room only. Many felt the highlight over the two days was a clinic by England's assistant coach, Steve Round, who recreated one of the training sessions used by England prior to their European Championship qualifier versus Estonia.
The overall experience of the show was also best summed up by visitor Mark Dowling who said "I had a great time at the GRFS this weekend, so good in fact that I ended up attending both days. The vast number of stalls, contacts, seminars, practical displays and general advice was mind blowing. The mix between theory, practical, corporate and innovation was spot on and delivered something for everyone at all levels and roles in the game. I'm already looking forward to next year."
Vanessa Bayley, Sales Office Supervisor, said "We had plenty of items to give away over the two days and our prize draw was a real big hit with the visiting crowds, especially as people kept returning to our stand to double check their numbered tickets to see if they'd won one of our many great prizes."
One of football's best known brands was also very happy with their presence at the show "A very well organised show that gives an excellent opportunity to communicate with the often difficult to reach grass roots market" stated Umbro's FA Development Manager, Ed Hughes
John Leonard, Clubline's Website Sales Co-ordinator, who was also at the Grass Roots Show, said, "The new website www.clublinefootball.com was also really well received by the visitors to our stand. They all had chance to use the site and commented on how easy it is to use and straight forward to search all sorts of items, plus our exciting new on-line strip selector was a big hit too."
Having spent more than 18 months preparing for the show, event director Steve Chittenden, is now looking forward to an even bigger and better show in 2008. He said, "The Ricoh was a great venue for the 2007 show, however we were literally bursting at the seams. We sold out of exhibition space and the coaches' arena was full to capacity for many of the clinics. The stunning reception that the show has received from all participants has convinced us to move to the UK's largest exhibition venue, The NEC, Birmingham, where we will have enough room to accommodate more visitor's, additional exhibitors and a significantly larger skills zone, offering players more opportunities to receive specialist coaching." The next Grass Roots Football Show 2008 will take place 30th May - 1st June 2008
Nick Palmer commented further saying, "We've already book our stand for the 2008 show, and we wish the Grass Roots team even greater success with their move to the big NEC venue next year. I'm sure we'll have plenty more new products and equipment to launch at that show too."
